I once saw this build somewhere, i tweaked it a bit

Beast mastery 12+1+2
Expertise 8+1
Spear mastery 11

Barbed spear
Disrupting throw
Optional (use something like Maimin spear, so the enemy can't flee. In Arena's use a res here)
Brutal strike/Disrupting lunge
[E]Heal as one (U can take Rampage as one, but you won't have heals then)
Poisonous bite
Whirling defense/Dodge
Charm animal

Basically u just spam barbed spear, maiming spear, brutal strike and poisonous bite, i use this a lot and i like it

Major is bad ;
HaO isn't that good ;
Enraged lunge is way better ; maybe insert apply poison with it to do some pew pew damage & degen on entire team ..

It's the classic hero Packhunter, but it works on players. It's not as "general" as some others, but its a tried and tested build. Change poisonous bite for apply poison, it's meant for pressure.

Not to split hairs but you'd only be a 6 in Exp if you went 12/11 in BM/ Spear. As indicated above, the Major isn't required.
